If I could have just one wish,
I would wish not for gold and silver
Much as they would make me rich
I would wish not for manors and castles
Much as they would keep me safe and warm
I would wish not for cars and money
Much as they would make me comfortable
I would wish to arise everyday
To the sound of your breath on my neck,
For that would enrich my soul
To the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
For that would keep my heart warm
To the touch of your fingers on my skin,
For that would soothe my body and mind
If I could just have one wish,
It would be to have you in my arms
With your heart beating in rythm with mine
Like a symphony of a thousand violins
Knowing that no worldy possesion
Would give a feeling half as comforting
As having you as my one and only wish!
