Kenyans have a whole cocktail of funny English accents. That means they put or remove letters that have no business appearing in certain words. And in this era of MBLOGGING, many abbreviations have come up. I propose we petition the facebook blogging community to include the Kenyan version of these abbreviations.
SOM - Son of a Mbitch (Meru)
WTV- What The Vuck? (Kamba)
ROR - Raugh Out Round (Kyuk)
RMAO - Raffing My Ass Off! (Kyuk)
MTW - Mby the way (Meru)
PTW - Py the way (Luhyia)
ASAB - As soon as Bossible (Kalenjin)
PRP - Pe right pack (Luhyia)
OMN - Oh My NGod (Meru)
ZOB - Zon of a bitch (Kamba)
ASR - Age Sex and Ranguage (Kyuk)
LMVHH - Laving My Vuckin hass hov (Kamba)
ROTFR - Rollin On The Froor Raffing (Kyuk)
HMN - Hoh my NGod. (Kamba)
And I also think we should have a few swahili ones integrated ...
LOL - MDW (Mcheko Domo Wazi)
LOLEST - MDWEST (Mcheko Domo Waziest)
LMAO - NHTL (Nacheka Hadi Tako Litoke)
And, as suggested by one naughty guy called Wanga, new ones like ...
NHN in swahili. Meaning 'Nimecheka Hadi Nikashuta' OR for those who understand Kikuyu, 'DND'- 'Datheka Nginya Dathuria'
And of course, ONHN for our Luo brethren .... Omera. Nimeseeka Hadi nikasuuta!
