I need an anti-stupidity Guard ...
There are those members of society who were not born retards but they then went to retard school and passed the Idiot-105 course with flying colors. People hell-bent on making your life difficult. From the shopkeeper who insists on repeating every calculation thrice to that landlord who knocks on your door at 6:00 am to ask why you sent him his rent on MPESA instead of depositing in his bank.
These are the people who will raise their hand to ask a most obvious question after the lecturer has ended a most boring 2-hour lecture that you would kill to get out of. And after the lecturer answers it, they insist on him to repeat his answer thrice for clarification. Am not talking about the people born with low IQs. Nope. Am taking about self made retards cooked in a sauce of stupid and served with toppings of retard cream. For example, politicians.
Politicians are some of the best self-made idiots anyone can think of. An educated politician will say something so utterly dumb you will wonder whether they have a mini-probox for a brain. Or whether they had an extra bowl of stupid in the morning.
You know, Microsoft windows has a very annoying habit of bringing in dialogue/Alert boxes whenever a program assumes you are about to do something stupid. Like closing a program without saving. Well, annoying as these Alert Boxes may be, I want those alerts in my life to warn me before I deal with a stupid person this year. And I want an annoying tone to go off in my head to ensure am aware am about to deal with a dumb person accompanied by a serious warning.
Such a warning would be handy. Something like, "The Person you are about to talk to/deal with may use his stupidity to annoy you. [Abort] [Proceed]?" And EVEN after I choose proceed, I want to be asked, "Are you sure? [Abort] [Proceed]." This will make my life very easy because I will prepare myself either with lots of patience or a gun.
So my resolution this year? I want to develop an allergy. An allergy for stupidity and bullshit that gives me nausea whenever am fed with bullshit or stupidity. That feeling will make me bolt in the opposite direction before my life is turned into a living hell.
