Police are investigating claims that a blog post was jacked at gun point earlier today. The post was minding its own business annoying people on the internet when the incident happened. Eye witnesses who saw the alleged jacking said the incident took place in less than ten seconds. Said one eye-witness, "Nilikua nimeketi pale wordpress, nikaona cursor ingine inakaa very suspicious imepita hapa hivi kwa address bar and restaurant. Halafu ikateremka mpaka pale kwa heading. Kabla tujue nini inaendelea, ikaanza ku-highlight hiyo post. Kidogo kidogo nikaskia mlio wa copy paste na msee akaponyoka! Huu mtaa wa internet umekuwa ngori. Ningeomba serikali itusaidie!"

The assailant is said to have sped off via text after committing the heinous crime. The incident which happened North of the internet county near the town of blogville took many blog-posts by surprise. Jacking incidents which were mainly common in twitterville have now spread to blogville. Security measures have been set up by disabling right-click but this measure is costly and only a few blogs can afford it due to the high cost of living. The blog-posts took the opportunity to request police to step up efforts to protect them.

"This is a very serious incident. The internet has become a very unsafe place for blog-posts. People have to read blog-posts very quickly because they might be jacked any minute before they can complete reading them. It is ridiculous!" said an agitated post.

Police are following a few clicks that might lead them to the location of the jacked post but their efforts are being hampered by editing done on the original post in an attempt to mask its true identity. This is an emerging trend where posts are jacked and then rushed to the nearest computer for editing. Parts of the post are then vended on the internet as originals. Police have however warned that theses attempts will not deter them because they have the appropriate tools to find them.

"We have very sophisticated tools to deal with this vice. We have enough MBs and Google. Our officers are highly trained in the tactics of copy paste and hitting the search button. This is done by a special branch of the police called KOT and you can rest assured they are highly trained to track such culprits" said a police spokesman.

The attention whores who were targeted by the original post have been shocked by the jacking incident.

"We are shocked by this incident. It was bad enough that we were getting annoyed by one post but with this jacking incident, parts of the post are going to spread and that means more annoying sources. We condemn the crime in the strongest terms possible including - Fuck, shit and Toka Hapa," said the representative of the attention whores support foundation.

We will keep you updated on developments of this story as we get them.
